Bernadette Pavlick reveals that her fiancé, John is truly behind her inspiration in discovering her enthusiasm for Mercedes-Benz automobiles. Her interest was ignited when he picked her up for their first date in an R230 SL500; from there her passion for the automobiles and the Brand heightened. This passion for Mercedes-Benz manifests routinely in her daily lifestyle on both a personal and professional level.

Bernadette and John are co-owners of Vander Auto Group, their independent used car dealership, in Columbus, OH, with vehicle inventory that showcases numerous Mercedes-Benz makes and models. She also has a partnership with John, at Vander Autos, his independent detail and repair shop, specializing in Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

If you stop by Vander Autos, you may find Bernadette, under the tutelage of John, working on one of their Mercedes-Benz vehicles; perhaps performing an A or B Service on her 2006 C55 AMG or deglazing and honing the cylinders on their 1972 350SL. In addition, Bernadette is very motivated by perfection so you will always see her meticulously detailing her vehicles for Concours judging at MBCA Events.

Both appreciate modern high powered sedans like their 2002 E55 AMG and classic coupes and/or convertibles like their 1986 560 SEC and are in the infancy in the development of their Mercedes-Benz collection.

Bernadette is an active member of the MBCA and has recently taken on the role of Vice President of the Central Ohio Section. She invests her time and energies into organizing events and managing various activities for the club. Her leadership skills have been instrumental in the success of their section this past year.
