Volunteers Needed-No strings Attached

The Mercedes-Benz Club of America needs talent. Your talent. As a non-profit organization, volunteers play a vital role in the ongoing growth and development of our membership. We won’t bore you with a long list of ways our volunteers sustain us. As an adult yourself—who at one time or another may have asked a friend, or even a stranger, for a special favor or moments of time to assist you—you already know how important a selfless volunteer hand can be.

To keep it simple, we’re here to ask you this …

Would You Volunteer for Just an Hour or Two?

There’s no strings attached, really. Just give it a try—for an hour, two hours or even an entire day if you’re having a really good time of it (we promise to give it our best shot!). Here are the many areas where a volunteer’s time and talent is frequently needed:

 

Make a call to a new member to welcome them to their local Section. Answer questions they might have and encourage them to attend an upcoming event in their area. We can supply volunteers with a short, friendly phone script along with the date, time and location of upcoming local activities.

Type membership letters on behalf of the Section in your area. We’ll give you the words to put in the letters, you type and mail them.

Introduce the Club to a local Mercedes-Benz dealership. Maybe you know a general manager, salesperson, receptionist or service technician who you feel comfortable talking to there. We’ll give you the tools to go and meet with them for 15 or 20 minutes; introduce them to the Club; and discuss ways the Club might help drive (more) customer traffic into their dealership.

Like to be where more of the action is? At a race track, an autocross, a defensive driving school or car show? We can always use people to help with event registrations, timed events, judging, membership sign-up, set-up and take-down of Club materials and so much more. You’ll usually get a bite to eat  while you’re helping there, too.

Think you might want to dip your toe in the water but have a question or two before taking the plunge? Right now, you can do one of three things: 

  1. Call the President in your local Section and tell him/her you might like to volunteer;
  2. Call the National Business Office at 800.637.2360, Monday through Thursday, 8am-4:30pm Mountain Time and Fridays, 8am-4pm Mountain Time, and tell us you might like to volunteer; or
  3. Complete the email form below and a team member will get back to you, usually in 24 hours or less.
