Disclaimer for Section Leaders and RDs
Exposed Section and Region filter options will only display news that has been tagged as such. When adding news that pertains to a Section and/or Region, make sure to select the pertaining options in the Add News area. These filter options are only available on the Current News feed.
If adding news to automatically display in the Section News feed within a pertaining section subdomain site at /section-news, Section Leaders should add news from within their Section site. If adding from the main MBCA site, it will only automatically show that news item on the main Current News feed at /current-news. Not the Section News feed. If needing to add a Section News feed to your MBCA Section subdomain website, please contact your Section Webmaster or the MBCA Web Project Manager at the NBO.
News items do not roll off of their feed by date. They display permanentely unless deleted. So please add news items that only pertains to expected news. While events are best added to the Event Notice and Event Report feeds.
News items go to approbation for approval by NBO before being published.
