Hico
Texas

Fifteen folks in 9 cars joined us for a country drive and a prix fixe 3-course ribeye lunch at Oma Leen's, a farm-to-table restaurant which has just relocated to a beautiful location in Downtown Hico. This highly rated restaurant was featured in Fort Worth, Texas magazine.

A highlight of the new location is its massive hand-carved 1880s Brunswick bar which was originally in service in Dodge City, Kansas.  It was displayed in the Gene Autry Museum before the restaurant owners bought it at an auction in Pennsylvania.  It was taken apart and shipped by rail to Hico, TX.

After lunch we walked or drove to the nearby Wiseman House chocolate store for some Valentine chocolate shopping.
