Southern Stars Section was featured at Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville!

For December 2023, we were selected as the First Coast Car Council’s Featured Car Club of the Month. This celebration was also part of our annual toy drive efforts for Wolfson Children’s Hospital! We were front and center and ended up surrounding the Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville dome tent (with permission!), with the enormous number of Mercedes-Benz vehicles that showed up and the number of toys that everyone brought! Thankfully we brought our own tree as a focal point to bring the toys to. It was amazing! It was our largest toy donation to date, and we’ve been doing this for years! Thank you very much to our members and friends who shared their time and donated toys!

Beginning around 7:00 am, Southern Stars Section leadership will assemble in the “Central Lot” at Caffeine and Octane Jacksonville to prepare for the event starting at 8:00 a.m. and welcome fellow Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts. Aim for gate #3, to the slight left of the “Exotics Lot” if approaching from the Southside Blvd main entrance. We are typically in front of the “Furniture Source” storefront (formerly Sears) at the end of the mall, near the parking garages.

Vehicles that cannot remain in the Central Lot from 8-11 a.m. are asked to park in the Exhibit Lot for easier entry and departure, and pedestrian safety.

Chick-fil-A and restrooms in the Avenues Mall food court will open early for Caffeine and Octane attendees at 7:30 am. (Yes, they serve coffee!)
