MBCA ROCKS THE OZARKS

Thirteen MBCA members and guests participated in the eighth annual Ozark Euro Rally in Eureka Springs AR Saturday August 26, 2023.  This All-German event started as an overflow show for the Eureka Springs VW show which is held in town during the same weekend.  The town was rocking with more Beatles, buses, and Combi pick-ups than I have ever seen in my life---and the 70’s hippies to go with them.  Members from the Audi, Porsche, BMWCCA, and MBCA  participated. The temperatures were hot but cloudy skies early allowed the participants some relief from the scorching sun.

Ozark section President Dennis Anderson organized the event with members gathering at the entrance to the grounds of the  Great Passion Play  at 8:30am.  Once organized, the cars drove in and parked together.  Lunch was a drive to the Rockin’Pig Saloon where folks enjoyed their famous Wagyu Steak burgers, home-made potato chips and ice cold brews.

The day ended at 3:00pm with a 200 plus Volkswagen car parade through the historic town known as Little Switzerland. This is a nice event with a great city known for its hotels, restaurants, and shopping.
