For the German-American Day parade at Carl Schurz Park near Okauchee, WI, our Wisconsin Section had about 30 members there with 22 of them riding in a dozen MB cars. We enjoyed a perfect day with lots of sunshine and mild temps in low 80's.
Starting at noon, our 12 MB cars of various models followed right behind the leading German brass band. After the parade was over, most of our club participants returned to the designated starting point parking area. We mingled with the hundreds of other people there, enjoying lunch, beer and listening to German brass band music with costumed folk dancers.
