    Many gentlemen, including my husband, Joe, have been delighted to experience this delectable culinary tradition dated back to the Victorian Era in England.

     

    Per popular request, we have scheduled a private Afternoon Tea at 2pm on Sunday, April 21, at Kiran’s Tea Room in Houston. The following link will take you to a tantalizing description of this English tradition.

  • The Art and Science of Detailing: Making that Mercedes-Benz Shine !

    A detailing clinic by Ricardo Becerra and Jerry Zajicek

    The Art: Ricardo will lead us through the procedure used to detail cars as done at his firm, making the exteriors shine, and the interiors clean. He will demonstrate the basic steps to presoak, decontaminate, clay, wash, rinse, and wax the paintwork. He will show us how he preps the cars for waxing and buffing to the final gloss.

    The Science: Jerry will explain all the new products used for detailing, and the methods they are used with. You will learn all you need to know to beable to visit the auto parts store, buy a minimum of products, and detail your Benz with the wash procedure we will explain in detail.

    • what is the two bucket method of washing  and why use it ?
    • what is the difference between a wet wash, a rinseless wash and waterless wash ?
    • how many kinds of car soap are there, and what are they used for ?
    • how to effectively clean wheels. what products and tools are needed to clean wheels and tires ?
    • how to remove salt stains from carpeting, the easy way.
    • what are interior detailers, and what do they do? What about interior cleaners?
    • the latest new products to hit the detailing world: ceramic products, graphene products, spray on products, foam cannons, grit guards, combination products, glass sealants, modern random orbit  polishers, decontamination products, iron removers, and synthetic clay.
    • what's the difference between wax and sealant ?
    • what are exterior detailers and when do you use them....
    • extreme glass cleaning with glass restorer, preserving with a glass sealant.

     

    We'll explain a basic rundown of a total wet wash at the car wash (not the one you're thinking of), a procedure to get to a clean finish.

  • M-B Shine n Show

    CAR SHOW AT THE CORNERS   MAY 19, 2024.

     

    Here’s a 3rd year club event with a lot to offer anyone. A friendly car show at The Corners of Brookfield on Sunday May 19,2024. Two other car clubs have previously held club car shows at The Corners. They were well received by the public.

    https://thecornersofbrookfield.com/ is a vibrant work-live-shop-entertain community. There is a slew of attractive stores (not found everywhere) as well as, numerous restaurants and more. Important to the car show is the availability of private
    interior streets that management blocks-off to provide a safe space to display our Mercedes-Benz vehicles and for visitors to walk around out-of-doors. Bring family and friends.

    In addition to exhibiting and viewing cars there are many unique shops, services, and food or drink to sample. Participants will have take-out lunch options among the nine eateries on site.


    We expect Mercedes-Benz dealer(s) will display new vehicles and provide door prizes.
    Show Cars need to be in place by 11:50am.
    Bring your own folding chairs.
    Pre-Registered Vehicle Entry Fee is $35.00.  Add $10 for registration at the event.  Cars may be either displayed only or displayed for judging.
